Anna and I were with some moms last night and they were asking for a gathering of unschoolers. So, we thought we'd host an unschooling gathering here on Wednesday, February 24th, 11am-1pm. We've been hearing a lot of questions about unschooling, and wanted to provide an opportunity for moms to ask questions of unschoolers about unschooling. We hope to get a bunch of unschoolers together!
We're in south Charlotte, just off I485 and Providence Rd. Email Pat at firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP, and for the address.
We have about 15 families gathering to explore unschooling. Most are currently unschooling, or homeschooling in a relaxed way and moving toward unschooling. If you have questions about unschooling, please join us for this informal gathering. Or, if you'd like meeting up with other unschoolers, please come.
Children are welcome!
Also, the UnschoolingCharlotte yahoogroup is available for support for unschoolers in the area. NCUnschoolers is another active discussion resource for unschoolers!
