Hi all! I am April and I am mommy to three miracles aged 2-5. We have just begun to homeschool this year. We are a buddhist family and we try to live that with all of our hearts. We are teaching our children to be respectful and loving to everyone. We try to eat organic and local produce whenever possible and reduce the footprints we leave behind. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hi April, I'm living in Mount Holly about 5 minutes from the Charlottte line, I homeschool my 3 kids ages 4, 7 and 9. I have #4 on the way next month. We spend most of our homeschool time south of the city and I love the Gastonia Farmers Market.
Thank you for the welcome. Jenn, you must be really close to us. We are in Northwoods. We go the other direction though for most of our activities, more up towards Huntersville. Although we will be doing 4-H in Belmont. We would love to get together for a park day/play date sometime!

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
