What does "holistic" mean to you?
Holistic is when you evaluate the whole being of a person, not just look at the symptoms. You actually pay attention to who they are, and their lifestyle. It is also an opportunity to take charge of your life and use alternative solutions for your health.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
20+ years
a little about me
I am a mindfulness coach, herbalist, intuitve healer, yoga and meditaiton teacher, and a Mother you cares about her children's health.
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
I own and operate an herbal body care company. All products are made with whole plant herbs. Many of the plants are wildcrafted, homegrown or obtained by organic farmers.

I have also created a behavior modification program that I teach mindfulness, breathing techniques and how to manage your emotions. I have created a meditation CD that compliments the program.

I coach individuals by partnering with them to assist them in becoming more aware of their patterns, how they move through the world and their emotions so that they are more in control of who they are and their world. I work with business executives, teachers, medical professionals, and students.

Children Call For Change

My daughter started 7th grade last week. There is such a great change in who she is now compared to last year. She and her peers are so much more aware of the world around them. They are beginning to question everything, and want to know why. They are paying attention to politics, and creating sustainable ideas to change the environment. I just love hearing about their ideas. I think that they are so much more conscious than we ever were. They are simply amazing. However, this does leave adults… Continue

Co-Creative Parenting

I happened to mention to a few friends, that I would love to move back to NY, how I discussed the idea of moving with my daughter, and she is onboard with the decision. I received a look of surprise that was both amusing and unnerving. Did I say something wrong? “But, you are the parent”, was the response that I received. Yes, I am the parent, but I believe in co-creation. I cannot create something that involves another human being that is capable of making choices, and expect a good outcome… Continue

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
