Used Curriculum Sales 2009
I will use this topic to post any curriculum sales that I come across. There are generally at least 3 or 4 in the Charlotte area in the spring and summer. BTW, just FYI for non-homeschoolers, these are great places to pick up bargains on reading books and educational games and toys.
Here is the first one that I have found:

Crossway Community Church, together with Grace Community Church
and WINGS Homeschool Group, will host our 4th Annual Used
Curriculum Sale on Friday, May 15, 2009. The sale will be held at
Crossway Community Church, 6400 Prosperity Church Road,
Charlotte 28269 from 6:30—9:00 PM. This will be a great opportunity to find curriculum and gather ideas for your upcoming school year! All are invited, as over 60 vendors will be selling a wide variety of items. Mark your calendars NOW! If you have any questions, please contact Cheryl Elliott at dcelliott@carolina.rr.com.

Poison Ivy
Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
