HB Meeting with local HB midwife to answer questions

Good Sunday everyone! I know that most of us on here have had a HB and probably don't need this meeting, but I know you also know ladies who maybe have not had a HB and have questions, so please pass this info around!

All mothers pregnant and not pregnant come together in an open format and discuss home births. There will be a short "testimony" from several women that have home birthed, then an open floor for you to ask all your burning questions.

--As long as she isn't in a delivery , Damaris Pittman a fantastic local midwife that has been doing home births for around 20 years will be here to answer questions.
--We are also going to have another non-practicing midwife that has also had a homebirth, As well as al local doula.
--I will prepare a quick sheet for references about natural birthing options, video resources, web site resources etc. Information on a local birth center and any thing else I think may be pertinent to making this life changing decision.
--If you have any ideas of things you would like to see at this meeting, please let me know so I can get it together.

We are so excited to help organize an event that can help others to see, what previous home birth moms feel is, a life changing and amazing experience no one should miss the opportunity to experience.

**Please if you think you are unable to do a home birth but don't know for sure please come and ask. I thought I wouldn't be eligible to home birth. I was wrong, I home birthed my last little bundle very smoothly and plan to home birth another in August, God willing.

"Interesting. I do find info about Arnica as a poison ivy relief alternative. I hadn't heard of that. Homeopathic Apis helps for swelling, hives also. Pat"

SHE'S HERE!!

So Maya Lynn decided to come Saturday afternon.After a long labor, but a REAL quick one push delivery she arrived Saturday September 12, 2009 at 5:09.She's 7lb. 11 oz. and 20 1/2" long.We came home Sunday afternoon and have all been doing really well.I will update with photos when I get time to download them.See More
