I have been a member of HMN for a few years, but not very active....because the South Charlotte commute was a bit lengthy from my Lake Norman address.
I am so happy to see some other like-minded people in this area. I can't wait to participate and be involved. I might be able to go the Charlotte network's event on Oct 1, at the Melting Pot. Are any of you from the North Charlotte group going?
It would be a great chance to meet and eat delicious food!

Hi! We live in Davidson and I'm so happy to find your group! Melia, I didn't realize that you were in N. Charlotte also :). It's funny, my friend and I were talking about starting something exactly like this. So glad that we didn't need to..we can just join ;). I'm happy to host meetings at my house esp during the day, nights are more difficult. I also teach Hypnobabies childbirth education classes so I'm happy to do a short presentation and answer any qu.s that people might have. I had my 3 babies using hypnosis. I've had natural births with all 3 and the last was a most wonderful home birth here in NC. I'm a big advocate for it now. It's always nice to meet like-minded women.

Poison Ivy
Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
