I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Sandrine Martin. She is absolutely amazing. She's so much more than a chiropractor. She incorporates an incredible multitude of practices into her work. Unlike every other chirpractor I've ever seen, she doesn't use any 'gadgets.' She uses energy testing to figure out anything/everything she needs to know. She just sold her x-ray machine, because she never used it. She has a website:
21316 Davidson Street
Cornelius, NC 28031

I discovered her when my baby girl was 2 months old. On top of everything else, Dr. Sandrine is an incredible cranial-sacral specialist. I've been seeing her (along with my two little ones) for about a year now. Unfortunately, she's up in the Davidson/Cornelius area (77 north to exit 28). She's sooooo worth the trip, though.
My baby girl had to have cranial-sacral therapy starting when she was 2 months old (I held her and slept with her too often in the exact same position in the crook of my arm, and it was causing her poor little head to get completely smooshed). My pediatrician was worried we'd need one of those braces for her head. I took her to Dr. Sandrine, and she had her completely fixed in just a few visits.
I haven't had much experience with cranial-sacral other than watching her work on my children. She figures out in her energy tests whether anything needs to be done on the head. Dr. Sandrine always tests their heads to see if anything is out-of-whack. My little guy fell face off the monkey bars and landed on his head, and I'd forgotten about it when I took him in. She checked him out and asked me what had happened to his head, had he fallen? Then she fixed him.
Another chiropractor I recommend, in case someone can't make it to Sandrine, is Dr. Greenberg. I saw him while I was pregnant, and took my baby girl to him when she was first born. I do not recommend him for babies, though, after seeing how incredible Sandrine is with babies. She simply has a magical touch. Greenberg is close to down-town. His # is 704-331-0100.

My oldest had a severe brain injury after birth and over the years several people have recommended Cranial-sacral therapy. I wish yours was closer (we live on the south side). I may call her just to talk about my daughter and see what she thinks.
She's about a 30-40 minute car drive for me, and she is completely worth the drive. Maybe you could just take your daughter for one visit, and see how that goes. I wish you the best of luck!!!
My chiro doesn't "specialize" in pregnant women, but he treats all ages, including pregnant women, infants, elderly, etc. I know lots of other moms who see him too: Dr. Greenberg of Randolph Chiropractic www.randolphchiropractic.com
I am a Chiropractor and would with pregnant women to help ease their discomfort as their bodies change and go through this wonderful process. I utilizes the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique (www.activator.com) which is based on an understanding of body mechanics and force as the key to addressing the presence of vertebral subluxations and structural misalignments. I uses an analytical method which monitors the biomechanical feedback of the body to produce consistent changes using a light specific adjustment without the twisting or pulling usually associated with Chiropractic. The Activator instrument is a small hand-held mechanism that delivers a quick percussive, specific dynamic thrust. By restoring the normal motion of a spinal joint, proper communication of the nerves in that area are re-established, and the body can function more optimally.

I saw on her website she "has trained extensively in chiropractic, homeopathy, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Applied Kinesiology, cranial-sutural balancing, she is also certified in Pediatrics & Pregnancy, including the Webster’s Technique." Here is her website:
