Profile Information

What does "holistic" mean to you?
attempting to get back to basics
using more natural products and natural "medicines"
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
I think it mostly started when I had my first child 5 years ago. We've been slowly switching to more natural things--homeopathics, healthier food choices, homemade cleaners, cloth diapers, etc.
a little about me
I am a full-time mommy of 4 kids ages 5 and under. I am a homeschooling, homebirthing, home-business-wannabe mom. (I make cloth diapers and slings, but don't have time to make much money at it!)
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
Not really any! I stay home with my kiddos. :-)

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
