Profile Information

What does "holistic" mean to you?
holistic to me is a lifestyle choice. it means that you focus on your entire self - mind, body, and soul - when making any life decision.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
i have been focused on a more holistic lifestyle since college - so, about 12 years.
a little about me
i am a local therapist who works primarily with children and specializes in autism. i also work with adults with brain injuries at a holistic day treatment program in the area. i also own my own little folk art company named little yellow bird.

i am married and we have a little Italian Greyhound puppy named Arrow and a dachsund/chihuahua rescue pup named Minion. We are expecting our first child in September.
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
i work at a counseling center as a therapist and i specialize in working with children with autism and adults with brain injuries. i also work part time at a holistic day treatment program for adults with brain injuries in huntersville.

Yes, I've been looking for years for other holistic moms locally. The LLL helped and there was an API for a while.

You are pregnant? Have you been to a LLL meeting? I went to them monthly before our son was born. It helped so much with nursing, to see mamas who nursed!
