Thank you for the welcome! I was reading the "Finding Your Tribe" section at MDC (not a member there) and this group was mentioned. There wasn't much on MDC for Charlotte so I thought this might be a better bet.
Thanks for the welcome! And I'm glad the flu vaccine article was helpful. I wish I had known all of that info when I was pregnant with my little guy the first time....!
There was a price increase today on all Imse Vimse products-$.50-$1.00. The covers you have are called the organic cotton and are $15.40. There is a soft cover that is white and is $$12.50. The contours are a 4 pack for 37.85 for the flannel and $56.55 for the Terry. Individually $8.95 or $14.95. I can place an order whenever you are ready. I am running a sale of 15% off through Friday on my current inventory of IV-Training pants and All in one diapers . They can be seen on my site. I am so glad you could use those. I am much better at the pocket diapers. I just got some of the organic Bum Genius All in ones and love those too! If you can come to the Trendy Tots event, there will be door prizes and I have a friend of mine who has a green business coming as well. She has the water bottles and reusable stuff. We need to get together.
I am going to look into it. I have an HE washer too. Also, I have a couple of Imse Vimse organic cotton covers (used lightly) and 2 flannelette and 2 terry contours uedlightly. I tried these to possible market and I am not that coordinated. They work fantastic!! but my hsband won't use them. I don't think I will market them. I also have 2 new of each kind of contour. Do you or anyone you knowwant to buy them? I guess the used ones(2 covers and 4 contours for $50 and the new ones all 4 for $23? Does that sound reasonable?
Were you the one who told me about Dr Bronners? i bought a small bottle. It says for diapers on the bottle as well as laundry. Have you tried it? I have a customer who has very hard water out in New mexico.
Yes!! Tammy and I have been best of friends for about 11 years now. It breaks myheart that she has moved. But I am trying tomake new friends. She is like a sister. Miyoung is so great! I hope to get tot know her more! Esther reminds me of me when I was that age. i think she is a year or so younger than Annika but older than Samantha.
Thank you for your birthday wishes. Anna just brought me the chocolaty-ist cake ever! With double thick icing, made from raw cacao! Can you imagine?? I think I am on a chocolate and sugar high and I couldn't even finish the piece. LOL
I'm interested in homebirth. A little tentative though. I've had monster menstrual cramps for over ten years that I haven't seemed to handle without some pain med or another (usually tylenol or advil). The rest of my life I pretty much handle naturally- herbs, relaxation techniques, meditation, etc. I want a natural birth. Waterbirth in particular. But I haven't found any places around here that support waterbirth yet. So I'm thinking home. We have a small townhome that wouldn't really be what I'd consider ideal but...
My husband is a bit on the "hospitals are there for a reason" side of things but he's agreed to let me make this decision since I will be the one birthing. I would love to hear more about your experience. I'm open to ideas, advice, resources,... lay it on me!

"Interesting. I do find info about Arnica as a poison ivy relief alternative. I hadn't heard of that. Homeopathic Apis helps for swelling, hives also.
