Families practicing: Alternative & Natural Health; Attachment and Mindful Parent

Has anyone attended the Reiki Meetup at Healthy Home Market on South Blvd?

I would like start learning Reiki for healing but have not been able to find anyone who can receommend a Master. I received my level 1 attunment in IET just before I moved here and I cannot find anyone that practices anything other than Reiki which is fine, I would also like to learn Reiki too.

Since I've experienced the healing powers of Reiki & IET I want to continue with my learning and attumnets so I can help myself, my family & friends, but I want to learn from someone who practices many forms of healing.

I want to know too! Maybe we could get someone to do a class for us, together.

Btw, what is IET?

Pat
For me, it is more emotional healing and Reiki if physical. Sadly, I really need alot of emotionaly healing. When I lived in NJ and had a huge and wonderful network of healers I was the most emotionally sound in my life. It is very peaceful and much easier to keep a solid "direction" in your life when you have that inner-peace. And I see alot of "emotion" built up in my kids, especially my 5 1/2 yr old, I want to clear that for her so badly. IET worked really well for me.

What is Integrated Energy Therapy®?
We call it “Healing with the Energy of Angels®”

Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET) is one of the next generation - hands on - power energy therapy systems that get the “issues out of your tissues” for good! Developed at the Center of Being, by Stevan J. Thayer, IET uses the violet angelic energy ray, as brought to us through the nine Healing Angels of the Energy Field, to work directly with your 12-Strand Spiritual DNA. IET supports you in safely and gently releasing limiting energy patterns of your past, empowering and balancing your life in the present, and helps you to reach for the stars as you evolve into your future. We chose the term “Integrated” in our name to convey our healing vision of “integrating the pain of the past, into the power of the present, to bring about the joy of the future”. We have been privileged to see Integrated Energy Therapy live up to this vision.

Integrated Energy Therapy® is ideal for students wanting to begin an energy therapy practice, and also provides a wonderful complement to other holistic techniques such as Massage, Reiki, and Therapeutic Touch. While IET is a perfect standalone energy therapy system, it is ideal to integrate IET into sessions based on other holistic modalities as well as integrate the techniques of other holistic modalities into IET sessions.
Thanks for the info. I hadn't heard of IET. It sounds like the support was valuable for you.

Have you sought an energy healer here? There is a woman up in Davidson, Kat, who really sounds intuitive and powerful. http://xploringholisticalternatives.ning.com/forum/topics/2327957:T... Actually, I believe she does teach Reiki.

I feel moved to mention the Consensual Living site for supporting your daughter's built up emotions, also. http://www.consensual-living.com/

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
