Regarding food, I focus on local, because it is more nutritious. And I focus on organic fats, and "natural" meats, because pesticides are stored in the fats of plants and animals. And I use "Veggie Wash" for fruits and vegetables. There are a few produce which are seriously high in pesticide residue, so I only buy those organic. I love using homegrown herbs too!
Do you homeschool, because life is simpler on your own schedule, rather than the school's, imo.

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
