Intro to this forum.....

I am kinda new here. Thought I would post a little intro. I cloth diapered my dd until she learned the potty at about 7-8 months via EC. Then we went to CD at night. BUT I still love CDs. I will be using them for our newest baby due in June. I also fell in love with babywearing when I had dd. I love my Moby D but desperately want a woven wrap of some kind. I really want to make one, but don't know what kind of material will work that the stores carry.

Hi Happyhippimama,
I live in Charlotte. I have two children who were born at home (1980 and 1986), and were home -unschooled.
I completed my birth doula training in October of 2008 and am available to assist mothers at birth. I have not yet been anyone's official doula; but I have helped at three home births and have been a co-doula at the hospital birth of a young friend last June.
If you are interested in the possibility of having me help at your birth, let me ,know.
Best wishes,
Maggie
