I am a Charlotte NATIVE!! I became interested in more natural living after the birht of my now 10yo son. He was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and I began to question everything in our environment. Since then it has been a process of changing our habits, one at a time. Currently, I homeschool and we are learning about our carbon footprint. I am also in the process of eliminating not only all chemical cleaning products, but also all shampoos and lotions that are not environmentally friendly and completely natural. I am an advocate of all things health which is why I hold certifications in Personal Training, Wellness Coaching and Yoga. I became a birth doula this year and am now studying to be a direct entry midwife. I've come a long way.....but still have a lot to learn and room to grow!

Welcome!
What area of town do you live in? We are in south Charlotte, Weddington. We unschool. Our son is 7.3. LOL Love to chat sometime, we have had quite a journey about sensory issues, leaky gut, etc. etc. too.

If you are NW Charlotte, there is a new NW/Gaston "Group" forming. See "Groups" at the menu tab at the top of the page.
If you are in NE Charlotte, you may want to start a NE/Cabarras "Group" to connect with others up your way! Just click on "Groups" and "create a group". And others can join for discussion specific to your area. MNO, playgroups, outings, etc are welcome!
