I would love a workshop on this!!! This weekend was very challenging and I don't feel mindful or centered or any of that good stuff you need as a mom!! I guess I should start with a bit of Yoga and some sleep.! Tell me all your suggestions for Mindful Home Mgmt!!
That's my philosophy too, Pat! When I catch Shannon eating something off the floor I think, "well, there's another boost to her immune system!".
There is a woman in my church that brings antibacterial wipes with her and has her family wash their hands after the "sign of peace". I can't help but worry that those kids have a weaker immune system due to less germs in their lives!
One thing that has helped me the past week or two, is I made a list of like thee simple things I do before going to bed and three I do when I wake up. Like at night, I make sure the dogs have food for the next day before I put their bowls up, turn off the power cords, and check the next day's activities. In the morning, I make sure dirty clothes are picked up and in hampers, empty the dishwasher, and take out something for dinner. These things only take a few minutes, but I feel so accomplished just to have some of these things done. Right now, those simple things are all I really feel like I can commit to.
