Potluck and Bonfire-Saturday
We're hosting a Potluck gathering for the homeschool community. If you are kinda, maybe, thinking about possibly considering homeschooling, it is especially fun to meet so many folks in a relaxed environment. :-) We always have a huge turnout and a fabulous time.
Please bring your spouse and kids! Hope you can join us.
Bring any side dish you'd like to make! Salads, desserts, dips, veggie tray, casserole, side dish, appetizers, pasta, bread, chocolate...
PLEASE BRING A NOTE INDICATING INGREDIENTS, WE HAVE SOME ALLERGIC FOLKS. (specifically nuts and seafood, vegetarian)
We have plenty of serving utensils and plates.
Date: Saturday-tomorrow
Time: 12-3pm
Location: Robinson's house-Weddington (let me know if you need directions)

This is always a fun time. Like Pat said, if you are considering homeschooling, this is a great way to meet some homeschoolers in a relaxed atmosphere and pick their brains if you want. For Saturday things, there are usually dads there too and let me tell you that nothing helps a dad feel more comfortable with the idea than meeting other dads and finding out that they are normal guys. LOL Unfortunately, my hubby cannot come with me this time as he has to fix my car but i do think there are some dads planning to come.

Poison Ivy
Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
