I don't know how I missed your note. I'm just finding it today!
Regarding food, I focus on local, because it is more nutritious. And I focus on organic fats, and "natural" meats, because pesticides are stored in the fats of plants and animals. And I use "Veggie Wash" for fruits and vegetables. There are a few produce which are seriously high in pesticide residue, so I only buy those organic.
