It is fine to arrive whenever you want for the monthly meetings. They are relaxed. Kids come too. There isn't anything fun for them. But, they are welcome. The next meeting is about "Birth Awareness".

Via Materna is a more AP version of Charlotte Mommies. It is a smaller group. http://www.viamaterna.com/forums/

You are welcome to join "Explore and Discover". We have about 500 homeschool families doing activities and outings. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ExploreAndDiscover/

Hope to see you soon.

Hey, hope you can join us for the monthly holistic meeting on Wednesday, or the family potluck on the 25th!

Are you on the Explore and Discover homeschool group? We have a lot of activities, park days, field trips, etc. for families.

Hope to meet you soon!

When you receive a notice to your email box that someone left you a comment, there is a link that allows you to respond directly to the original poster.

Like you, I responded to myself. On your "My Page", it LOOKS like "add comment" is meant for you to respond back. But, it is meant for "us" to leave comments on your page. Did that make any sense at all? LOL

We are in Weddington, off Weddington-Matthews Rd. Do I "know" you from old Charlotte Mommies and Via Materna?

Pat

I have no idea how this site works. To respond to people to I just do add a comment on my own page?

To answer the questions I was asked -

I live in S. Charlotte off McKee Rd. I have a daughter that just turned 4, a son who is 2 and I'm due with #3 Nov. 30th.

Welcome!

What part of Charlotte do you live in? How old are your children? We are in south Charlotte, our son is 7.

Consider adding your business contact information in the "Member Resources" forum.

Glad you are here!

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
