I moved the forums around so that it was easier to get notified of new threads. I think. LOL Not certain it will help. But, post in "General Chat". :-)
It was good to meet you at Pat's too. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to chat longer! I think I remember you from before I moved here and I joined a couple Charlotte lists, to find out what's going on around here. I think it was you?! Well, this person was so welcoming I was hoping I would meet them in person! ;-) There were actually several of you nice folks on those lists! Anyway, I am sorry to have to miss the fondue party! ugh! I have to take my teen to a horse thing in Concord. If something happens and I can get back to Weddington before 4, I will be sure to crash the party, LOL!
Karen, we plan to see you at your seminar. Our daughter began with a Montessri education when she was 2 1/2. She is now 5 and in public school (yuck) I won't get started on that. But I am interested inhomeschooling. My husband is more apprehensive and not on board thus far. But, i wanted to know what type of homeschooling may be good for Annika. We do not have a lot of money to invest on materials etc.
Yes. We'd love for you to join us. It is 2-4pm, this Thursday. I posted in Events (menu tab at top of page) and started a thread in "Playgroups and Gatherings". http://xploringholisticalternatives.ning.com/events/holistic-playdate
Thanks for sharing! It's nice to know what's going on with everyone else. I'm still so new at all this homeschooling stuff, so I can only imagine what lies ahead!
I don't know about a "pencil". If you move the cursor over the text you just wrote (in a thread, not here), the post will highlight so that you can edit.

Oh, btw. "to edit" a post, you only have 15 minutes to edit, and then it is set in stone. But, you can delete any comment or post that you make, or that someone posts on your "My Page".

"Interesting. I do find info about Arnica as a poison ivy relief alternative. I hadn't heard of that. Homeopathic Apis helps for swelling, hives also.
