Home birth meet up
I don't know if this is alright to post this here or not (so please feel free to let me know if it's not) but on another local forum for moms in the Lake Norman area we are trying to get a home birth group started to be able to meet and share experiences, answer qu.s for people who are just interested in home birth, etc.
We are planning to meet tomorrow, Monday, at my house I believe (we were going back and forth if it would be at another mom's house but she's due any day). We are both in Davidson. We are planning to meet at 11:30 am and go until whenever. I can email anyone who is interested my address and phone #. Sorry this is so late. Next month we'll try to get the word out sooner, we're still very much in the initial stages of getting this together.

I like this idea. I am in East Meck County area- but would love to hear others homebirth stories and after my baby is born - due early January- would love to share my homebirth experience!
I know there is also a birth circle happening in Charlotte this weekend. -

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
