Body, mind, spirit, the WHOLE person. It takes into account our emotional, psychological, physical well being.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
Since about 1991. I became a massage therapist and health educator in 1993. But after I left my practice I continued learning on my own and pursuing natural, holistic healing methods including naturopathy, acupunture, rolfing, body-mind therapy and basic healthy living practices.
a little about me
I am a small business owner along with my husband. We're expecting our first child in April. I am not a workaholic but you'd never know that from my current schedule. I am excited to have some free time again, soon.
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
I am co-owner of a local coffeeshop. We belong to the Specialty Coffee Association of America.

Are you going to be able to make it to the Birth Awareness meeting on October 15th? A lot of information about natural birth, home birth, hypnobirth, water birth, etc. will be presented.
I'm about to head out the door, so I'll have to bombard you with info later. :)
I do suggest you join our Homebirth group on this website. There are both women that have had homebirths and women that would like to have homebirths in this group.
Wow, you are informed about a lot of things that I'd love to learn more about. Hope you'll chime in with some resources or websites that you'd recommend about your interests.
Where is your coffeeshop? What part of Charlotte are you in? We have several groups forming around the area for local gatherings. Also, have you connected with the local La Leche League? They were my best support after our son was born. Learning and becoming comfortable with breastfeeding was wonderful.
