If anyone is interested in joining an UNFI coop out of Rock Hill, let me know. UNFI is United Natural Foods Inc. They supply the major natural foods groceries. The coop is every four weeks. You submit your order online. You have to pick up your order in Rock Hill on a Wednesday, usually in the early afternoon. Since we live near each other, if pickup is ever a problem, maybe we could help each other out.

Every month there are new things on sale. Usually you buy a case of something at a time. I've gotten cases of crackers, bread, buns, english muffins, soup, mac&cheese, rice pilaf, (sounds like a carb fest I realize, what's up with that?) etc. There are dry, frozen, and refrigerated items, as well as lots of bulk options, personal care items, etc.

I joined this coop a couple of months ago. We are having trouble meeting the minimum order, and we need new members! Let me know if you or someone you know might be interested!

Hi Leslie and everyone else too!

I sent an email to the group, before you were a member, about getting together for dinner or coffee in the next couple of weeks. I have not heard back from anyone yet, but if there is any interest let me know. I hope to meet everyone soon.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, Joette! I would love to get together. Dinner or coffee, either would be great. I'm a little frazzled w/ lots of projects and things going on, but if someone else sets it up and the schedule works out, I think it sounds like fun and will try to make it!

I would also love to get together and I'm also super-busy. Maybe next week? I'd love to grab a bite to eat.

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
