- What does "holistic" mean to you?
- I'm going to be very simplistic here and say that holistic means "healthy" to me. Health can be physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and can mean healthy relationships with others. A holistic life is an examined life, and is healthy on as many of those levels as possible. It can also involve a healthy relationship with our planet and our greater community.
- How long have you been interested in holistic living?
- I've been involved on the fringes of holistic living all my life, but I really got in deep when I became a mom almost 6 years ago.
- a little about me
- I'm an unschooling mom to two fabulous little girls ages 4 and 6.5. I have been married to a wonderful man for 10 years. I am a midwife. My family and I live in Fort Mill, SC.
- What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
- As a midwife, I provide prenatal and postpartum care and attend out-of-hospital births. I teach childbirth education with an emphasis on natural childbirth. I can also provide in-hospital labor support (doula work).

We have a lot of gluten-free/casein-free members, and we split a lot of cases between the members so that we don't have to individually order a whole case at a time.

Poison Ivy
Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
