A homeschool group for boys

I've heard about a homeschool group for boys that play Bakugan and Pokemon. Is there someone on this website that puts this group together?

Profile Information

What does "holistic" mean to you?
Things that encorporate the "whole" person: physically, emotionally and spiritually.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
It's been a gradual process. It began while a child by my mother's example but most recently after having my babies 7 years ago.
a little about me
I am 36 years old, a mother to three wonderful children: two boys (7 and 5) and a daughter (1). I grew up in CT but have lived all over the world and country. We moved to NC almost 3 years ago from the Washington D.C. metro area and have loved it here. While my husband is a fairly conventional guy he has made huge strides while I've become more and more natural with things in our family's journey. I also teach natural childbirth education classes called Hypnobabies. I have LOVED teaching these classes b/c they are so very informative and teach such great relaxation skills for couples to have their babies in a peaceful, joyful way.
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
I teach Hypnobabies Childbirth Education classes. www.hypnobabies.com I am really proud to teach these classes. I have had such wonderful experiences using hypnosis for my babies' births and I want to share how comfortable and easy and actually *enjoyable* childbirth can be. I want for every couple to have a healthy, safe birth for their baby.
Woops, I'm trying to figure out how to add an avatar (I always have issues with this any forums I'm on. I'm just not too technically savy quite yet).

Thanks for the tips about adding to the members resources, I think I did that. I also joined the N Charlotte group. I am SO happy that you've put this together :). This is wonderful. Thank you!

Welcome to the North Charlotte Group. I am planning to set up some group events and looking for input on what works for others. Let me know what you are available for. MNO playdays? Weekends or Weekdays.

We homeschool so for me playdays are easy anyday I also have no weekend issues so I'm willing to have family gatherings.

I would like to start presentations but am looking for a free place to have them.

Btw, there is a new north Charlotte group forming. Check the menu tab "Groups" at the top of the page. Just select "join this group". They are wanting to have local MNO and presentations, etc.

Thank you for the nice welcome! We live in Davidson, so we're on the north side. I grew up in southern CT, a bedroom town to NYC called New Canaan. I'm so glad that you had a good experience Cara Yara with using hypnosis for your babies' births.

I would love to join you all at an event soon. Oh, in fact I think that I will be at the Earth Fare event speaking about the classes that I teach on the 15th this next week. :) Hope to see some of you then and meet some people in person. :) It's nice to find like minded women.

Welcome!

I used hypnobirthing for my 3 homebirths and found it a valuable tool. We moved here a year and a half ago from NH and we really love it here as well!

Please go to the Forums and see if there is anything you would like to respond to or questions you would like to ask. It was also be great if you could post an introduction in the Introductions Forum.

Glad you could join us!
