Antibiotic & Hormone Free Locally Raised Beef!

Hi All!As some of you know I have a connection for All Natural, Antibiotic & Hormone Free, Locally Raised Beef. When I saw this quality of meat at the Farmer's Market selling for as high as $13- $15/lb. for the steaks alone, I thought, there has to be a cheaper way! So I found a farmer in Rutherford Co. that has GRASS FED Locally Raised Cows that are all natural, lean, & antibiotic free! They have a butcher that gets the meat USDA inspected, packaged, frozen & kitchen ready! I have…See More

"Organic" No hormones or antibiotics, grass fed only Beef!

I recently went in with some other people on a 1/4 of an organically raised (no hormones, antibiotics, strickly grass fed) cow for fresh beef. I did not know how much room it was going to take up & since found out it is 75lbs. of meat. I do not have enough room for that much beef in my freezer. Likewise, another person in the group also didn't know how much it was going to be either. He & I could split a 1/4 but then we have a whole 1/4 left to get rid of.The price of the meat is very…See More

I hopeschooled my kids too. They are in their 20's now - my son is 29 with a child of his own - the lovely and lively Emma. My daughter is 23 and finishing up a degree in Women & Gender Studies and English at UNCG.
I may need your pet sitting help sometime. I have a 13 year old beagle named Molly. All the best! Maggie

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
