"I haven't visited this board in a while, but I'm so happy that I popped over today to read your birth story! What a beautiful experience that you will always treasure and I feel honored to be able to read about it. Congratulations Terri on…"
Holistic means taking into account the whole person when making choices. Being mindful about what we put in and around our bodies and balancing that with our current lifestyle.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
a little about me
I'm a mom of 3 kiddos (ages 5, 3, 1). Our family supports homebirth (2 of my 3 were homebirths in Maryland), extended bf, cosleeping, and frugal living. My personal addiction is thrift shopping and yard sales. My former career was an aero engineer, but now I reign as mom and household coordinator (same thing, right?). I also make eco-friendly children's stools using recyced or recyclable materials, but haven't gotten my business up and running since moving to North Carolina this past year.
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?

Hello! It's great to meet you on the site! I am a mom of 2 sons (Caiden 7mos. and Carson 4yrs) We are an extended bf and co-sleeping family as well. I stay home with my little ones and we practice attachment parenting. How long did you breastfeed your kiddos?
Check out the "Reduce/Reuse/Recycle" subforum. I believe it is under "Mindful Home Management". Also, there is a "Frugal Living" subforum there. We'd love to tap your wisdom about these issues! There was another new mama who is passionate about Recycling and we were discussing creating a flyer to increase awareness in our neighborhoods about the benefits of recycling. Perhaps, we could work together to get a whole grassroots community effort going and get on TV advocating it. ;-)
