Profile Information
- What does "holistic" mean to you?
- An endless journey of finding more natural ways to live. For me, so far, the most important 'discovery' was opening my eyes to the fact that the medical establishment may not have my best interests at heart. That has opened the door to so many other things, and I am just beginning!
- How long have you been interested in holistic living?
- I started becoming interested after the the birth of my son 3 1/2 years ago, and then became extremely interested while pregnant with my daughter. Prior to that, I sometimes tried to eat organic, and I was a vegetarian, but I had no idea what holistic living could entail.
- a little about me
- We moved to Charlotte 4 years ago (from Chicago), and I have had two children since coming here (my son is 3 1/2 and my daughter is 1). Since moving here, we have been trying to lead a more natural life, including medical care (i.e., homeopathy, naturapathy, energy healing, no vaccines, etc.), foods (organic, trying to understand raw, etc.), raising of my children (attachment parenting, still breastfeeding both, co-sleeping, etc.) I am amazed at the things I have been discovering along the way.
- What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
- Well, I'm not sure it's an 'offering,' but I am an attorney at a very large law firm in Charlotte.

I just had someone ask me about needing an AP/homeschool friendly attorney. Do you see individuals? She is needing someone regarding an ex-husband, I believe. She lives in the north part of Charlotte and cost was a concern. Any recommendations would be appreciated and I'll pass them along.

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
