Come meet like-minded mamas who are engaged with nourishing their families holistically. We have a monthly holistic topic, presentation and Q & A on the third Wednesday of the month, at 7:00pm at Earth Fare- Ballantyne. (NOTE EARLIER TIME FOR THIS EVENT!)
Shop with the Doc: How to Bring Home only Healthy Food from the Grocery Store – Wednesday @ 7:00 pm , March 18
In support of National Nutrition Month, Carolinas Natural Health Center is partnering with Earth Fare to offer “Shop with the Doc” Wednesday March 18 at 7:00 pm
Earth Fare- Ballantyne (12235 North Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277)
Dr. Michael Smith, Naturopathic Physician with Carolinas Natural Health Center and his wife, Debby Smith will take people on a tour of the grocery store, pointing out the best food values for nutrition, meal planning, and economy.
“We know how busy life can get with managing your job and your family. Too often, we make unhealthy meal choices out of convenience. We will show you how to shop smart by stocking your pantry with the essentials to make a quick, healthy and delicious meals ”, says Debby Smith, Practice Manager at Carolinas Natural Health Center and mother of two young children.
Hope you all will join us! (Children are welcome too. But, there isn't much for them to do.) We will gathering in the Community Room afterwards to chat and visit!

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
