"They did not cook properly - they did not get tan AT ALL. It was like I cooked in a sunscreen or heat protectant. And the texture was weird, sorta uncooked, but of course if it didn't cook it would still be liquid."

- I could very well have been one of the welcoming people. We have moved so much and I know what it is like and it is so helpful to have folks welcome you to an area. I did four years ago - one lady even offered to drive by houses for me! Charlotte is a great place but not always easy to find stuff - some of the homeschool things are well hidden secrets. Do stop by if you get back early but enjoy the horse thing - I try not to be envious!

- Wow 3 horses! I'm happy to hear you wil get them soon your girls must be so Excited that they are coming. Skylar would love to see them. I don't know how log it would take to get her on one though she is very shy. I used to ride a friends wen I was young but never formal lessons. My cousin leases a horse down in Georgia andI have been thinking of taking her down there to get Skylar on her horse . We would love to visit when everything has settled. The kids love anyone who has animals. They have started asking if we can live on a farm since we took some field trips to farms last spring. Hopefully someday we can get some land and a few animals.

- Hi! Great to see you too! These 2 horses actually belong to friends, my daughter just caught a funny picture of Dan biting Zen. We'll be boarding and training Dan soon. Hope he's gotten over his biting habit!
We have 3 horses, and we can probably put your daughter on one of them! They arrive in 2 days.

Poison Ivy
Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
