OK this is kinda selfish of me. I would like to see us help out some of our new mamas with some dinners. I would be willing to coordinate this and we could do addresses through pm as to make things a little more private. Let me know if you are expecting and/or willing to help with a dinner. TIA
I think meals for new moms are great. However, with how spread out we are in Charlotte it might make it difficult to make this work. If there is a mom in my area I would definitely cook her a meal.
Great idea Terri!
I am expecting and would love to help other moms with dinners.
I love the idea of providing meals which can even be done before hand to be frozen for use after the baby arrives.
I am due early January. I do need meals that are dairy free, preferably without wheat and no red meat please.
If you are expecting- please include any food issues you have. I for one understand this and why make people meals they can not eat.
I think you are due soon, right?
Maybe we could have one person serve as the coordinator of meals per each person- and could even deliver the meals to that mom. It would help to know due date, food issues- foods to avoid, and where each person lives.
Then others can get meals to one person's house who can than bring them to that mom either before her due date or after the baby is born.
something like this:
Gina Grothoff Mint Hill- East Meck County area Jan 4 no dairy, minimize wheat, no red meat
Great idea Pat! And if the expecting mom can not come- if someone can volunteer to bring the meals to that mom? And any others who do not make it to the meeting could get meals to that person if they like.

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
