I have some migraine and hormonal challenges and tried MANY avenues. Several things, recently, have been leading me in the direction of trying acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
I was hoping to hear some stories or experiences or recommendations.
Marston St. John (who is on here) is an accupuncturist! She just had a baby but if you contact her, she can probably put you in touch with someone who can help, if she can't.
I did acupuncture and chinese herbs for very heavy menstrual periods. It worked great. However, it was hard to keep up with and eventually I stopped going. At first I was going 2-3 times per week, then down to once a week and then eventually every other week. I was also taking 12 pills/day.

Thanks Joette,
This is a concern. I don't know about going so often and the expense of that too. It's really what has been holding me back. I'm hoping I can meet with one and figure that piece out.
Marston was my client, so I haven't seen her in that capacity. But I know that she has referred people out, so even if she can't help you, she can probably find someone who can.

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
