Hi Happyhippimama,
I live in Charlotte. I have two children who were born at home (1980 and 1986), and were home -unschooled.
I completed my birth doula training in October of 2008 and am available to assist mothers at birth. I have not yet been anyone's official doula; but I have helped at three home births and have been a co-doula at the hospital birth of a young friend last June.
If you are interested in the possibility of having me help at your birth, let me ,know.
Best wishes,
Maggie
