Will do! I think it would be a great conference to go to and I'd love to hear the owner of Polyface farm speak. I would love to take a field trip to his farm at some point.
The milk was good but I think I like Jersey cow milk better. It just tasted different to me. Was able to make butter so I was happy w/that! Being that my dd tested moderate for casein intolerance I think I'm going to go dairy free for a while with her so I don't know if I will be purchasing again any time soon.
Are you planning on going the entire weekend and staying in a hotel? I may be interested. I want to see if you can get a discounted rate for 1 day. I may be willing to go all day on Sat. I can't see leaving much earlier than 8am, though.
The rate for just Sat. is $150, not much savings. They said their cost are the cost whether you go one day or more. They did say that there are students that are offering their couches as a place to stay. They have no plans on doing the conference in Charlotte or to do the conference in Chapel Hill again. They (conference) said this is a lifetime opportunity to see these two folks (Sally and someone else) together.

So Maya Lynn decided to come Saturday afternon.After a long labor, but a REAL quick one push delivery she arrived Saturday September 12, 2009 at 5:09.She's 7lb. 11 oz. and 20 1/2" long.We came home Sunday afternoon and have all been doing really well.I will update with photos when I get time to download them.See More
