I thought it would be neat if we could get a group of EHA members to go to this. I plan on going and would love to share carpooling and lodging with 1 or more people. What do you think? http://www.realfoodrealmedicine.com/

Tori,
This looks so neat!!! I know I can't go for a whole weekend but I'm going to look and see if there are other options. I'd love to hear your report when you get back :)
Will do! I think it would be a great conference to go to and I'd love to hear the owner of Polyface farm speak. I would love to take a field trip to his farm at some point.
The milk was good but I think I like Jersey cow milk better. It just tasted different to me. Was able to make butter so I was happy w/that! Being that my dd tested moderate for casein intolerance I think I'm going to go dairy free for a while with her so I don't know if I will be purchasing again any time soon.
Are you planning on going the entire weekend and staying in a hotel? I may be interested. I want to see if you can get a discounted rate for 1 day. I may be willing to go all day on Sat. I can't see leaving much earlier than 8am, though.
The rate for just Sat. is $150, not much savings. They said their cost are the cost whether you go one day or more. They did say that there are students that are offering their couches as a place to stay. They have no plans on doing the conference in Charlotte or to do the conference in Chapel Hill again. They (conference) said this is a lifetime opportunity to see these two folks (Sally and someone else) together.
"Hi Megan,
I've dealt with a few different illnesses. Maybe you can call me tomorrow and let me know what's going on. Or maybe send your number. Pat and I are going to a conference but will have some time on the drive there and later in…"
"Hi Anna,

"Interesting. I do find info about Arnica as a poison ivy relief alternative. I hadn't heard of that. Homeopathic Apis helps for swelling, hives also.
Pat"
"Thanks, lots of great ideas we can try. (I am a new member on the yahoo group as of last week.) We also read some information elsewhere about treating with arnica, do you have any experience with that? DH used arnica pellets on Sunday for muscle…"
"We had two recent discussions about poison ivy relief on the yahoogroup with many options to consider. Plantain, witch hazel and Epsom salt baths seem to offer significant relief.
Are you already a member there?…"

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
