- In college I learned about organic foods and how farming had changed from family oriented to corporation, factory farming. When I moved to Portland in 2005, I was made more aware in light of the movement towards less chemical and artificial interventions in our food and daily lives.

- The reason we are just targeting Purcell and Forrester is we hoped it would not get to the point where we needed to bring it to anyone elses attention. As of last night it looks like SB164 will die a quiet death and never be heard. We are keeping a close eye on it. If it pops back up then we will need to contact all of our senators.
