Thanks for organizing this series. I was wondering if we need to reply if we plan on attending? If a reply is helpful then my daughters Antonia (4) and Elizabeth (2) would like to take a swing on the 27th at noon.
No RSVP is necessary. On the yahoogroup, we do have a database to see how many folks to expect at an outing. A few activities require a headcount. If we have fewer than 15 folks, we generally cancel. But, we've had a lot of enthusiasm for the outings.

You are welcome to join the Explore and Discover yahoogroup to get updates, check out the calendar of events. All families are welcome! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ExploreAndDiscover/

Cool! I've decided I AM going to start hs'ing my kids next year -- or maybe even this year, if I can't stand it any longer -- and this sounds like fun!
You all are most welcome to join us. We have a lot of families with younger children. Having a homeschool support network is the key to feeling confident in homeschooling. There are 15, 000 homeschoolers in the Charlotte region. And we have TONS of social opportunities.

Hope to see you all out and about!

Poison Ivy

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
