Hi Pat,
I am so glad to be invited in. I just sent an email about this, so just disregard it. I have a 24 year old daughter, a son who will be 18 in 6 days and a 25 month old baby girl. I plan on home schooling her when its time, I will be there on the 18 I hope and maybe the dinner, I have to check when it is again!!!
Look forward to getting to know some people in this neck of the woods. On a different note, does anyone know if it is possible to have severly sore nipples while breastfeeding at as early as 1 week pregnant? mine are so sore and heavy feelong, but it would have have only been 1 week, and I have the typical dull ache in the belly. Any comments???
Heather
Thanks, Pat! It was really nice to meet you too! I won't be able to make MNO this coming week, but I hope I'll be able to get to one in the near future.
Zachary could come today or Thursday. Not sure what is up with Gina. I am assuming that baby has arrived. I was hoping that her husband would post when that happened but I don't know. I don't have her phone number. Clark has been gone since Sunday and that has made this week a little harder. I will call you a little later noonish or so when I have a better idea of when we will get out.
I will try and make it to one of them soon, hopefully. Since we live over in Gaston County, it's a little bit of a drive. So, we'll probably have to come to one of the gatherings on the weekend. I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here. Oh, and thank you so so much for the kefir grains.
Hi, thanks for the reminder/invitation. I have a dr's appt that day (with my mw/doula) which is quite a drive for me so I won't be able to attend but I hope to start attending some gatherings soon. I haven't had much free time but do want to get more involved. I have to say I love this website by the way, thanks for putting it together, really enjoy it.
It seems I always have someting else on the event days. I really wanted to attend the Organic Gardening this past Sunday. And I get discouraged because on the rare occasion I do post I never get an answer (Probotics question).
Thank you! I think I'd be lost on a MNO considering I've not been able to do anything like that since my kids were born! :) But I am sure willing to give it a go! LOL.
I would love to but it is so hard for me to do extra things right now. I work full time and we are having a hard time financially right now. If there were things closer to us than it would be easier. Ballantyne is an hour drive for us. :(
Hi Pat,
I am planning on going to the MNO on the 3rd if it is not too too far away. Is that at 7:30 also? I will look at the time when the notice comes up. I couldn't make it to Aladin, that sounded like a great place. There is a pizza place downtown that is supposed to use quite a few local ingredients - I can look up the name if you are interested. I will look forward to seeing you!

i have been thinking about you and trying to see what i can fit in my schedule. Believe it or not i have over booked myself again. lol. i am heading the biztown event with 133 students, planning two trips, putting together 2 new homeschool classes and working on an ongoing fundraiser teaching a class as well as the everyday driving the kids to their events and several travel trips with my own family. maybe since you are taking restaurant ideas you could meet at eez in Birkdale. they usually have some good coupons, not too expensive and a little bit of everything.
Hey Pat! I never heard back from the holistic dentist in Denver near Lake Norman! I left messages at his office, e-mailed,...nothing! 'Don't know if I should try one more time or not, but his name is Herbert Mills if you want to contact him to discuss your interests/needs. Good luck!

"Hi Megan,
I've dealt with a few different illnesses. Maybe you can call me tomorrow and let me know what's going on. Or maybe send your number. Pat and I are going to a conference but will have some time on the drive there and later in…"
"Hi Anna,
Hope you are doing well, its been a while since I've come to the group MNOs but hope to attend soon and see folks again. This is kind of a random favor/question, but I seem to have a sick chicken and wondered if you had any expertise…"
"Interesting. I do find info about Arnica as a poison ivy relief alternative. I hadn't heard of that. Homeopathic Apis helps for swelling, hives also.
Pat"
"Thanks, lots of great ideas we can try. (I am a new member on the yahoo group as of last week.) We also read some information elsewhere about treating with arnica, do you have any experience with that? DH used arnica pellets on Sunday for muscle…"
"We had two recent discussions about poison ivy relief on the yahoogroup with many options to consider. Plantain, witch hazel and Epsom salt baths seem to offer significant relief.
Are you already a member there?…"

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch? I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
