Vaccination Rights in North Carolina

Greetings All,I just got off the phone with the most interesting gentleman, Alan Phillips, an attorney from the Chapel Hill/Triangle area whose practice is devoted to disseminating legal information and/or representing people who are opposed to state mandated immunizations. Here is his website if you would like to get in touch with him: http://www.vaccinerights.com/sitemap.html His website has a wealth of scientific articles and…See More

Profile Information

What does "holistic" mean to you?
Living, eating, having a general mindset of being in harmony with the natural body and natural environment.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
30 plus years
a little about me
Insanely and happily married to Haines and mother to a blended family of 6 kids,....4 in college! Jesus Christ got hold of me 10 years ago and utterly and completely changed my life for the better! I am a part-time practicing dental hygienist, own a small dog jewelry business called "Big Paw Bling." I embrace the vegan lifestyle framed by Hallelujah Acres and am becoming more and more zealous all the time about non-intrusive health care, opposing prescription drugs for EVERYTHING, immunizations, Fluoride in the water supply,......it goes on and on, but someone needs to talk about this stuff without hysteria!
What professional or business affiliations do you offer?
None really, as I mentioned, I am itinerant dental hygienist which means I am a "substitute" at dental offices all over southeast Charlotte. I have some homeopathic insight based upon my reading/lifestyle and a whole chest of "mothering" experiences for anyone who is interested. I also know who the really great dentists and homeopathic physicians are!

New Day Camp Near Rock Hill/Fort Mill

Greetings All,

For some of you with young children (13 and under) looking for summertime day camp activities in the Rock Hill/Fort Mill area, you need to know about a new 150 acre island on the coast of Rock Hill (Catawba River) called Camp Canaan. In the world of day camp dollars, this incredible place is a steal at $175/week per child (which works out to paying $4.00/hour for daycare). Anyway, please access the link below for a radio broadcast which showcases the camp and also the… Continue

Dianne, thanks for the recommendations. We see/have seen Dr. Chen...

I'd love to hear what you learn about the holistic Denver dentist.

I understand the sensitivity in this medium of communication.

Hope to meet you sometime.

Hey, hope you can join us for the monthly holistic meeting on Wednesday or the family potluck on the 25th!

Where do you live in Charlotte? Do you have children? We are in south Charlotte, our son is seven.

Hope to meet you soon!

Definitely would love to hear some holistic dentist recommendations! I have 10 amalgam fillings, unfortunately. And several probably will need attention eventually. Are there any holistic dentists who use ventilation and whatever to decrease vapor exposure while removing amalgam? I'm reluctant to take them out, as so much is involved.

But, I'd also love to find someone who could do Ozone, anywhere within 100 miles. Ds has enamel issues and early caries and and and.

Respectful to children and allow parents to be present during procedures are essential criteria also.

Thanks for ANY leads! We are in south Charlotte, not that it matters much.

Does anyone have suggestions for relieving poison ivy itch?  I'm new to holistic treatments, and hubby has a small case of what he thinks is poison ivy or oak on face and hands.
